87 E350 AMBO

[Vampulance]

Hey all. Reached a breaking point in my life where I can no longer keep up with the cost of renting. I traded my 2013 Kia for an 87 Econoline E350 XL “Collins Crusader II” type III ambulance. She’s in pretty great shape considering it’s 35 years old. Some rust scaling but nothing’s rotted through underneath besides the muffler which I had replaced. Two tire treads blew out on me a few days after purchasing so I spent like a thousand dollars replacing all the tires. I’ve never been much of a laborer, and while I’m not mechanically inclined, I do have a pretty rudimentary understanding of engines and the like. I’m more capable with electronics, I think. I have no tools or real building expertise so I don’t think I’ll be doing much physical alteration. I’ve purchased a portable toilet, solar shower, currently using a hammock but also have a blow up mattress. No generator yet, though It has a shore power plug that just seems to power the outlets but not charge the battery.

I live in New England but right now I actually am able to stay at or very close to my workplace which has showers and a fridge.
